2. Job Details and Eligibility
The apprenticeships are available in several trades. Candidates can apply according to their education and technical background.
Applicants with F.Sc (Pre-Engineering) or Matric with a 3-year Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) can apply for positions such as Chemical Plant Operator, Mechanical Technician, Civil Technician, Electrical Technician, and Instrument Technician.
For the role of Mechanical Draftsman, candidates must have a Matric with a 2-year Draftsman Diploma.
Those applying for Lab Technician or Analyst positions should hold F.Sc (Pre-Engineering) or B.Sc with Chemistry (excluding B.Sc Hons or Engineering).
The post of Technician (Refrigerator & Air Conditioning) requires Matric with a 2-year course in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, while for the Computer Operator position, candidates must have Intermediate (ICS) qualification.
