Available Positions
CTD is inviting applications for the following posts:
- Terrorism Investigating Officer (TIO) (MBS-III & IV)
- Qualification: Master’s degree or 16 years of education in Criminology, Psychology, Law, Computer Science, IT, Sociology, Political Science, International Relations, or related fields.
- Duties: Investigate terrorism-related cases, analyze data, prepare reports, and assist in counter-terrorism operations.
- Terror Financing Investigating Officer (TFIO) (MBS-III & IV)
- Qualification: Master’s degree or 16 years of education in Finance, Banking, Economics, or relevant fields. Preference will be given to candidates with ACCA, CA, or related certifications.
- Duties: Track, analyze, and disrupt financial networks linked to terrorism.
- Cyber Terrorism Investigating Officer (CTIO) (MBS-III & IV)
- Qualification: Master’s or 16 years of education in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related disciplines.
- Duties: Investigate cyber threats, digital forensics, and identify online extremist propaganda.
- Surveillance & Intelligence Officer (SIO) (MBS-III & IV)
- Qualification: Master’s degree or 16 years of education in Criminology, Law, IT, Psychology, or relevant fields.
- Duties: Collect intelligence, monitor suspects, maintain crime indexes, and support field operations.
Selection Process
The recruitment will follow a structured multi-stage evaluation process:
- Stage 1 – Initial Screening:
CV review, academic and professional record evaluation, and reference checks. - Stage 2 – Aptitude Test:
A standardized test to assess basic proficiency and relevant subject knowledge. - Stage 3 – Technical Test:
Job-specific assessments to evaluate analytical, technical, and strategic skills. - Stage 4 – Panel Interview:
A three-member expert panel will conduct interviews to assess candidates’ suitability. - Stage 5 – Psychological & Medical Evaluation:
Candidates must pass medical and psychological fitness tests from a Government Hospital.
Examination Subjects & Marks Distribution
For each position, the written examination will consist of:
- Law (Anti-Terrorism, Prevention of Electronic Crime, Police Rules, Banking/AML Laws) – 40 marks
- Technical Subjects (Cyber Security, Finance, Investigation, Surveillance, Data Analysis, Digital Forensics) – 40 marks
- English Essay (Analytical & Communication Skills) – 20 marks
Terms & Conditions

- The contract will be for a fixed term, renewable based on performance.
