Islamabad police latest jobs 2025

The Office of the Inspector General of Police, Islamabad has officially announced the creation of 1610 new posts in the Special Protection Unit (SPU) of the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police. This recruitment is aimed at enhancing the security measures for Chinese nationals residing and working in Islamabad.

Job with eligibility criteria 

According to the notification dated 8 August 2025, the Ministry of Interior & Narcotics Control has approved the creation of the following posts:

 Eligibility Criteria

1. Inspector (BS-16)

• Education: Graduation from a recognized university.
• Age Limit: 20–25 years (relaxation as per rules).
• Physical Standard: Height 5′7″ (male), 5′2″ (female); Chest 33×34½ inches (male).
• Other: Must pass physical, written, and interview tests.

2. Sub-Inspector (BS-14)

• Education: Graduation from a recognized university.
• Age Limit: 20–25 years.
• Physical Standard: Same as above.
• Other: No criminal record; physically and medically fit.

3. Assistant Sub-Inspector – ASI (BS-11)

• Education: Intermediate (FA/FSc or equivalent).
• Age Limit: 18–25 years.
• Physical Standard: Same as above.
• Other: Must qualify written, physical endurance, and interview stages.

4. Constable (BS-07)

• Education: Matric (SSC or equivalent).
• Age Limit: 18–25 years.
• Physical Standard: Same as above.
• Other: Good moral character and physical fitness required.
