Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) Islamabad, one of Pakistan’s most prestigious educational institutions, has announced multiple job openings under the PSDP-funded project titled “Establishment of National Institute of Intelligence & Security Studies (NIISS)”. The university invites applications from qualified, dynamic, and experienced professionals for various contractual positions.

Available Positions

The following posts are announced under the Project Pay Scale (PPS):

1. Project Director / Executive Engineer (PPS-9)
   • No. of Posts: 01
   • Age Limit: Maximum 63 years
   • Qualification & Experience:
     • M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from a recognized local or foreign university.
     • Minimum 12 years (for M.Sc.) or 15 years (for B.Sc.) of relevant experience in building construction and project management.
     • Valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).
     • Strong knowledge of PSDP-funded project rules, planning, budgeting, and reporting.
     • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
     • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
2. Assistant Executive Engineer (PPS-7)
   • No. of Posts: 01
   • Age Limit: Maximum 45 years
   • Qualification & Experience:
     • B.Sc. in Civil Engineering with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
     • PEC registration is mandatory.
     • Preference will be given to those with experience in PSDP projects.
3. Accountant (PPS-5)
   • No. of Posts: 01
   • Age Limit: Maximum 45 years
   • Qualification & Experience:
     • M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent degree.
     • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, or project finance.
     • Knowledge of financial management in public sector projects will be an advantage.
4. Computer Operator / WPO (PPS-4)
   • No. of Posts: 01
   • Age Limit: Maximum 45 years
   • Qualification & Experience:
     • Matric with a typing speed of 10,000 key depressions per hour.
     • Certificate or diploma in computer operations.
     • Experience in MS Office and data entry-related work.
5. Office Boy (PPS-1)
   • No. of Posts: 01
   • Age Limit: Maximum 45 years
   • Qualification & Experience:
     • Literate with relevant experience.
     • Preference for candidates with experience in Naib Qasid or office support roles.

Terms & Conditions

• All positions are contract-based as per the Project Pay Scale (PPS).
• Initial appointment will be made for one year, extendable based on satisfactory performance and project duration.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for the selection process.
