Scotland Pakistan Scholarships are provided through the Scottish Government. Scottish Government is available to young Women and Girls enrolled in undergrad (BS) courses for Pakistani women at any HEC-recognized university in Pakistan. The scholarships are provided with the help of the Scottish Government. Scotland Pakistan Awards for Young Women or Girls are available for undergraduate students to earn a four-year bachelor’s degree, and also for Masters studies.

British Council will administer the scheme in Pakistan and will coordinate with the selected universities and scholars directly or through designated university coordinators. The last day in order to submit an application for Scotland Pakistan Scottish Government Scholarship is September 15, 2023. This application procedure is managed by the British Council. The Scotland Pakistan Undergraduate Scottish Scholarship is a fully funded scholarship that allows Pakistani women to complete a four-year bachelor’s degree in any field at a recognized HEC institution in Pakistan. The scholarship is provided by the Scottish Government and runs via the British Council.

Scotland Pakistan Scottish Scholarship 2023 Covers
Scotland Pakistan Awards for Scholarships to Young Women, as well as Girls, provide recipients with the following:
- Cost of tuition for courses in fields that are eligible
- The cost of a university hostel (where applicable)
- Transport from and to home to the university twice each year for students who live in hostels located on campus
Subject Areas for Scottish Scholarships for Pakistani Students
The scholarship will pay for an undergraduate degree of four years duration from an HEC-recognised Pakistani university within at least one of the subjects only:
- Education
- Sustainable Energy
- Food Security and Agriculture
- Health Sciences
Eligibility Criteria
These scholarships are offered only to female applicants. Furthermore, applicants must
- Be Pakistani citizens currently living in Pakistan
- You must be pursuing the four-year bachelor’s degree required for the subject areas listed above.
- Have a valid admission acceptance from an HEC-recognized, publicly-funded university in Pakistan
Females with disabilities and young women who are from rural areas or people of minority groups are encouraged to apply.
How to Apply
A complete application will contain:
- Completely fill out the application form
- Copy of scanned CNIC
- A copy of transcripts that has been scanned
- The proof of admission or enrolment at the bachelor’s degree level
- The formulation for tuition fee
